1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Dotto ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Dotto is a premium domain marketplace that facilitates the buying and selling of domain names. We provide a platform for domain owners (Sellers) and potential buyers (Buyers) to transact securely.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Domain Listings

4.1 Seller Responsibilities

Sellers warrant that they have the legal right to sell the domains they list and that the domains do not infringe on any third-party rights. All domain listings must be accurate and not misleading.

4.2 Pricing

All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified. Sellers are responsible for setting their domain prices and may modify them at any time before a sale is completed.

5. Purchasing Domains

5.1 Payment

Payments are processed securely through our payment partners. By making a purchase, you agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable fees.

5.2 Buyer Protection

All purchases are protected by our refund guarantee. If the domain transfer is not completed successfully, buyers receive a full refund.

5.3 Domain Transfer

Once payment is confirmed, the Seller has 48 hours to initiate the domain transfer. The Buyer must complete the transfer process according to the instructions provided by their registrar.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

6.1 Buyer Protection

If a Seller fails to transfer the domain within 7 business days, or if the domain is not as described, the Buyer may request a full refund.

6.2 Cancellation Policy

Once a purchase is completed and payment is submitted, the transaction cannot be cancelled except in cases where the Seller cannot or will not complete the transfer.

7. Fees and Commissions

Dotto charges a service fee on completed transactions. The fee structure will be clearly displayed during the checkout process. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • List domains you do not legally own or have authorization to sell
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Attempt to bypass our payment systems
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Dotto, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Dotto or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOTTO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dotto and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
